JUST LIKE WE PREDICTED

By this movement being hijacked the way it's been by those insisting that only those who fit within tiny tiny little niches are those "worthy" of help, and by grants that are only going out to those who show a certain number of cases also fitting into these tiny little guidelines - THIS is the result.  We made predictions this was going to be the result of this madness - and here's one we only know about.  I already assure you there are many many more and the problem is that many innocent people are also being charged with "trafficking" in order for people to hit these numbers and cash those checks.

This issue can't be taken out of it's context.  These new laws and these new grants have got everyone trying to make things fit into where they don't fit because these lines of distinction don't exist except in rare cases.  There is a difference for example because someone who prostitutes for drugs because they're an addict - and someone who is being forced to prostitute against their will who uses drugs to cope with being in that situation.

What's the difference if they are both drug using prostitutes?  The difference is in how you approach getting them OUT of prostitution, and OFF drugs.  If you treat one as a drug addict and treat their addiction - guess what?  They quit prostituting!

What happens if you treat the latter for drug addiction?  Absolutely nothing.   They will continue to be forced to work in the sex industry and if you take the drugs away they're likely to find others ways to numb themselves, or worse just become straight up suicidal.  Which is why we saw plenty of programs who treated these types of sex workers for drug addiction reporting to us they were still busting these women a year later who were clean - but still right where they were before.

Now are these people trained to know the difference?  No.  But if the courts would consult with a group like ours for adults or Children of the Night for juveniles - then they might realize there's just as much of a way to prosecute this case properly AND get these victims the help they need, without having to risk the whole case being thrown out as "fake".

There are drug courts set up to deal with addicts because they need to have people there who understand when someone is committing a crime loaded vs. someone committing a crime as a result of a disease they have no control over, i.e., addiction.  It's the same concept here - but it's not the court's job to understand all of the nuances between "trafficking" and "sex work" and "pedophilia" and "domestic violence" and other issues that requires people who know this subject inside and out who can properly help and advise them.   Which is why if these prosecutors don't start consulting with us - there's going to be more of these cases.

We've also pointed out that juvenile victims can't just be sent "anywhere" without carefully investigating the program itself for people who will take further advantage of these victims - http://www.local10.com/news/miami-dade-boot-camp-case-manager-arrested-on-multiple-charges?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_WPLG_Local_10
A case in point here about why you can't just "trust" any old program as being "safe" without careful investigation first.

This article points out the girl went along with this fraud because she didn't want to admit to having sex with anyone.  http://lewistownsentinel.com/page/content.detail/id/1091582/Court-blasts-government-s-handling-of-sex-trafficking-case.html?isap=1&nav=5016  However, I've warned the government that when you make it to where the only way to get off the hook is to hang someone else on that hook - THIS is what you get.

Here's an article that was published before the truth came out http://womenspress.com/main.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=3915  Note it says that she thinks the victim should engage in "self healing".  That's one of the signs by the way someone is lying.  Instead of referring them to experts like myself for adults, and Children of the Night, for juveniles, these frauds know you'll see straight through them so they come up with all kinds of excuses to avoid us . I'm to the point now where there's so many of these frauds online, I already have social workers, counselors, etc., who report that if they start making excuses not to speak to us they know they're lying.  I'm sure there's exceptions, but it's still becoming a red flag to consider someone is lying.
